We would also like to thank students and staff for completing the drill quickly and demonstrating sincerity in their commitment to district safety. This drill is a vital part of our efforts to ensure the security and well-being of everyone in our Warden community. Your cooperation and support in these drills are highly appreciated. Today, the District was notified of a student testing positive for Pertussis, Whooping Cough. The Grant County Health District requires notification to families of students who may have been exposed. As our entire District is on one campus, we are choosing to notify all families. Notifications will be delivered to you that must be sent home with students today but may also be read here: English or Español
The District Safety Committee is pleased to announce the implementation of a new parking plan for students, staff, and visitors. In the coming days, maintenance crews will be painting parking stalls to designate specific areas. Effective Monday, October 21, students are required to park in their assigned spots during school hours, excluding extra-curricular events. Staff will have designated parking areas available.
Details of the Parking Plan:
- Students: Parking is allocated on the north side of the secondary gym. Parking passes will be issued to licensed and insured drivers.
- Visitors: Designated parking spots are available near the main entrances to ensure a welcoming experience.
- Staff: Designated parking areas near various facility entrances will be available to all staff members.
A map outlining the new parking areas will be provided shortly. We extend our sincere gratitude to the District Safety Committee for their diligent efforts in planning and implementing this new system.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
