Announcements
Warden schools families,
We are excited to announce improvements to our volunteering approval process going into effect immediately. Moving forward Washington State Patrol (WSP) background checks will be implemented, at no charge, for most volunteers making it easier than ever for community members to engage with our schools. Furthermore, we’ve streamlined the application process, simplifying the steps required to become a volunteer. These changes represent our commitment to reducing barriers and enhancing community participation in our schools. We value your dedication and support in fostering a thriving educational environment.
Process overview:
- Simplified application online: Warden School District - Parent/Guardian/Community Volunteer (tedk12.com)
- After approval, submit background consent form (at district office)
- WSP background check, free of charge

Warden schools families, Warden students have some opportunities for some exciting field tips coming up soon so be on the lookout for permission slips coming home today! Next week is a planned trip to Country Farms for Kindergarten and Kindergarten extended on July 18, grades 1 and 2 on the July 19, and grades 3 and 4 on July 20. Warden Schools Families, this morning a social media post was shared with the Warden community that created some confusion about district services to be offered today. While it was unfortunate, it does present the opportunity to remind everyone to follow the official Warden School District (WSD) social media accounts and to bookmark the district's website (www.warden.wednet.edu). The most up-to-date information may be verified on the district website, where links to all official district social media may also be found. Another opportunity is to remind everyone that there is a 12:20pm early release tomorrow (May 26) and no school on Monday, May 29 for Memorial Day.
Warden Schools Families, Friday, May 26th is a snow make-up day with a early release time of 12:20pm. Please ensure you have made arrangements for your students to be released from school at 12:20pm this Friday. Thank you and have a good evening.
