2024-2029 STRATEGIC PLAN

The Strategic Plan outlines Warden School District’s vision, priorities, indicators of success, and commitments. The District uses these components of the Strategic Plan to guide their work in order to ensure every student thrives and graduates ready for the future.

PRIORITIES

The priorities define the key areas of focus for the Warden District.

The Warden School District Family is committed to:

GOALS & INDICATORS OF SUCCESS

Our goals and indicators of success will provide benchmarks to determine our progress as we implement our strategic plan.

Self-responsibility and self-discipline

  • Number of discipline referrals
  • Students engaged in setting personal goals and tracking their progress towards achievement of those goals

Closing achievement and opportunity gaps

  • Student growth over time compared to like peers
  • Participation and proficiency in accelerated or advanced courses

Mastery of core academic subjects

  • Students demonstrate proficiency in core academic subjects
  • Students meet or exceed grade level standard by the end of 3rd grade

Readiness for college, career and life

  • High School graduation rate
  • High School & Beyond Plans include mentorship, coursework, and experiences that align with postsecondary plans

STRATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS

1. Form Strategic Planning Committee
A diverse committee of 36 parents, community members, students, and district staff came together to develop the key components of Warden School District’s new Strategic Plan.

2. Gather Input and Draft Components
The Strategic Planning Committee met five times over the course of five months to examine district data, identify priorities, clarify indicators of success related to those priorities, and the commitments needed to ensure Warden students graduate ready for the future.

3. Finalize Plan and Present to Board of Directors
A final draft of the Strategic plan is presented to the Warden School District Board of Directors for approval and adoption.
