Exciting news from the Warden FFA Chapter!
The 91st Washington State FFA Convention has begun, virtually. Typically more than twenty Warden FFA would be in Pullman attending leadership workshops, competing in a variety of contests, voting on important issues, meeting industry professionals, and creating new bonds with students and FFA chapters from across the state. For the second year in a row the Warden FFA Chapter will be attending workshops, contests, and general sessions virtually from our own homes, after school and sports. Although still impactful, some of the excitement, celebration, and closure on a job well done is missing.
This year Warden had more than 100 Warden FFA members participated in leadership activities and events, competed in local, district, and state career and leadership development competitions. Although, participation was unconventional again this year, Warden FFA members (8th-12th grade) continued to demonstrate the hard work, dedication, and commitment the Warden FFA Chapter is known for. Again, as an unconventional year, most of these accomplishments have gone by without the usual recognition and fanfare. Please take a moment to recognize and celebrate some of the the perserverance and determination of these Warden FFA members:
- State Potato Evaluation Team consisting of Harley Roden, Hallie Cole, Kenna Cox, Molly Sackmann, Averie Golladay were recognized for placing 7th in the State Contest the evening of May 13.
- State Degree Ceremony will be this Saturday, May 15. This year the Warden FFA Chapter has one member, Valerie Cole, that has earned this degree.
